About the position

The SQL Server Developer position at OneTouch Direct is a full-time role based in Tampa, FL, offering a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level skills in Transact SQL, which are essential for supporting the current Data Warehouse, ETLs, and other application databases. The role requires experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Power BI, and involves assisting in the design, architecture, and delivery of critical, highly scalable, efficient, and reliable data infrastructure and platforms hosted in the AWS cloud. The successful candidate will need to quickly familiarize themselves with the current enterprise data architecture, systems, and processes. Under the direction of IT management, they will collaborate with internal departments, teams, and external clients to understand business needs and execute the delivery of data and platforms, including self-service platforms. A sense of urgency and a speed-to-market mentality are crucial, as the role involves delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining open communication with stakeholders. The developer will also work closely with offshore resources, emphasizing the need for a highly technical individual with a breadth of experience in various data initiatives. Additionally, the role requires driving IT solutions to ensure they meet business needs while balancing a pragmatic and integrated approach to the design of technical solutions. Staying updated on key technology, business, and industry trends is essential, and the developer will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support current Data Warehouse, ETLs, and other application databases using expert-level Transact SQL skills.
• Assist in the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable and reliable data infrastructure and platforms hosted in AWS cloud.
• Collaborate with internal departments, teams, and external clients to understand business needs and deliver data and platforms.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
• Work closely with offshore resources to ensure project success.
• Drive IT solutions to meet business needs with a pragmatic approach to technical design.
• Stay updated on key technology, business, and industry trends.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related degree.
• Five plus (5) years of relevant progressive experience and responsibilities.
• Expert/Advanced level experience with modern ETL technologies, data streaming, and queuing technologies.
• Experience with a breadth of databases, big data platforms, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data analytics and Machine Learning technologies.
• Experience in a contact center, agency, or similar fast-paced dynamic environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with various security and compliance standards such as PCI, SOC, NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST.
• Experience in enterprise implementation, leadership experience, and strategic planning.
