About the position

We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer to design, enhance, and manage SQL Server databases that support various applications. The role requires proficiency in T-SQL queries, optimization techniques, and experience with SSIS and SSRS to ensure efficient data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Construct, update, and oversee SQL Server databases, including the creation of tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Showcase advanced T-SQL skills by formulating intricate queries that retrieve and manipulate data.
• Enhance query performance using techniques such as indexing, query plan analysis, and query rewriting.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications using linked servers.
• Translate business requirements into database structures, working with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and resolve database performance issues through query tuning and optimization.
• Develop documentation outlining database design, data dictionaries, and functional elements.
• Utilize SSIS for efficient data movement, transformation, and integration.
• Design and maintain reports using SSRS to provide insights into business data.
• Stay updated on SQL Server advancements and apply best practices for database systems.
• Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and efficiency.
• Plan database structures for growth and scalability.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a MS SQL Developer.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and advanced T-SQL scripting, including window functions, grouping, and aggregate functions.
• Familiarity with dynamic queries for adaptable data retrieval.
• Experience with linked servers for accessing data across environments.
• Proven track record in query optimization, including query plan analysis and index optimization.
• Experience with SSIS for data movement and transformation solutions.
• Proficiency in SSRS for designing impactful reports.
• Understanding of database security measures for data integrity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
