The SQL/SSIS Developer role at Connvertex Technologies involves leading ETL processes and data warehousing solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data warehouse data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Utilize ETL tools like Azure Data Factory and Microsoft SSIS to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.
• Automate ETL processes using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Work with SQL database architecture, data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization.
• Develop data warehouses using platforms like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Implement big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka.
• Create visualizations and reports using Power BI based on data stored in Synapse Data Warehouse.
• Ensure high data integrity through data cleansing, profiling, and validation techniques.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of IT experience.
• 4 years of experience with SQL.
• 3 years of experience with SSIS.
• 1 year of experience with ETL processes.
• 1 year of experience with big data technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure Cloud platform and services like Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Databricks.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
