About the position

The SQL SSIS Server Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to ensure their stability, reliability, and performance. This role involves working closely with end users to develop database solutions that meet their requirements, improving application performance, and ensuring data quality and integrity across various database applications.

Responsibilities

• Design databases and ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.
• Create and implement database systems based on end user requirements.
• Improve application performance.
• Prepare documentation for database applications.
• Develop database schemas, tables, and dictionaries.
• Ensure data quality and integrity in databases.
• Fix issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
• Test databases and perform bug fixes.
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
• Prepare design for all metadata for data warehouse according to various ETL processes.
• Troubleshoot all ETL processes and resolve issues effectively.
• Develop both physical and logical data models.
• Prepare designs for database systems and recommend improvements for performance.
• Maintain and develop various database scripts and tools to facilitate automation processes.
• Develop various ETL processes and prepare OLAP cubes.
• Provide support to all data warehouse initiatives.
• Design various ETL processes and perform tests on data.
• Define metadata standards for the data warehouse.
• Monitor processes and develop plans to capture and access all metadata.
• Evaluate all proposals requests and assist to improve the structure of the data warehouse.

Requirements

• 9 years of experience with SQL Server and SSRS.
• Strong knowledge of database design and implementation.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
• Ability to create complex SQL functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Proficient in troubleshooting database performance issues.
• Experience in developing both physical and logical data models.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with OLAP cubes and data warehouse initiatives.
• Experience with automation tools for database processes.
