About the position

ADP is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP and BW Developer to join the Production Engineering team within the US Money Movement organization. This role involves collaborating with clients, product managers, architects, and software engineers to design, develop, debug, test, and implement solutions that support a diverse range of clients. The position requires hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP and BW development, with a focus on delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, test, and debug user stories or service desk tickets from clients and operations teams.
• Lead and guide developments within the team, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Review team members' work and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in daily standup calls to prioritize and track work progress.
• Engage in release activities every couple of weeks, ensuring smooth deployment of solutions.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders and product owners, presenting project milestones and achievements.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP and BW development.
• Expertise in SAP ABAP hands-on development experience in S4 HANA, Gateway Services, OData, CDS views, and AMDP.
• Strong full lifecycle ABAP custom development skills including BAPI/BADI/Enhancement Framework, Workflows, and Dialog programming.
• Experience in building data flows with BW objects like Info Objects, DSOs, Cubes, and Multi providers.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues and manage critical situations independently.
• Fair knowledge of key Finance processes and functionality such as GL and Cash Management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and services.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
