About the position

The Sr. Account Executive for Centene MedD & Exchange at Express Scripts is responsible for managing client strategy, ensuring adherence to contractual commitments, and driving gross margin growth. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to consult with clients, upsell services, and maintain strong relationships. The position requires effective communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and optimizing revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of client strategy and gross margin growth business plan.
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual commitments.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and communicate client strategic and financial activities.
  • Consult with clients and upsell services to grow the business.
  • Deliver presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the establishment of key products through collaboration with internal teams.
  • Develop and execute client-specific upsell plans, monitoring and adjusting as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for upsells and revenue growth.
  • Conduct routine reviews of plan performance with clients.
  • Interface directly with clients to consult on best practices and support upsell activities.
  • Lead the account team to ensure client satisfaction and collaboration.
  • Direct activities of internal partners related to client strategic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization for seamless implementation of Centene.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years experience working with Medicare Part D.
  • Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive project management skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial management principles and risk-based contract management.
  • Demonstrated negotiating and leadership skills.
  • Developed organizational, analytical, interpretative, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet goals.
