About the position

The Senior Account Executive for Amazon Freight is responsible for managing relationships with Amazon Freight's largest customers, focusing on driving new business growth and maximizing retention of existing accounts. This role requires a collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally in a startup environment, building customized solutions that align with customer needs while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the primary commercial relationship with Customer's executive decision makers.
• Define the account growth plan and collaborate with stakeholders to execute it.
• Identify new growth opportunities and define business plans to achieve goals.
• Partner with operations leaders to define scalable operating plans for accounts.
• Prioritize and communicate asks of partner teams to unlock new business opportunities.
• Manage opportunity pipeline and monitor account health, including Customer KPI review and revenue quality monitoring.
• Act as a trusted partner to Shipper / 3PL / Broker / Managed Transportation customer segments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
• Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions.
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
