About the position

The Sr. Account Executive, Federal Sales at T-Mobile is responsible for engaging with C Suite and Executive level officials within Federal Government agencies to sell products and services. This role focuses on prospecting, networking, and generating leads to meet and exceed sales objectives by acquiring strategic accounts. The position requires leading customer interactions, managing a portfolio of accounts, and utilizing solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage the entire sales cycle and account strategy, collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market position for Federal Government Accounts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with senior executives and key decision makers.
  • Position new solutions for expanding business in evolving customer environments.
  • Utilize sales force automation and prospecting tools to manage sales funnel and generate reports.
  • Research business information about prospects and ensure internal departments fulfill responsibilities for onboarding new customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4-7 years of Business Sales Experience, preferably with Federal Government.
  • 4-7 years of prior wireless experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in account planning and execution.
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective long-term customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of T-Mobile products and services and ability to create demand for them.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strategic accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Experience in handling sales negotiations confidently.
  • Ability to create and present persuasive content to C-level executives.
  • Experience working with legal teams to draft contract terms.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce.com and MS Office Suite.
