About the position

The Sr. Account Executive, K-12 Education at T-Mobile is a sales-focused role aimed at driving growth within the education sector. This position emphasizes customer lifecycle management, contract renewals, and enhancing customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets. The role requires leveraging prior experience in the education industry to foster relationships, resolve issues, and ultimately increase revenue and customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize contact list to call leads and generate sales opportunities.
  • Exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals.
  • Welcome customers to T-Mobile, review service agreements, and answer questions regarding service.
  • Establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase customer base.
  • Complete customer account maintenance resulting from account reviews.
  • Provide account analysis to determine up-sell and renewal offers.
  • Supervise and resolve customer issues, tracking individual account activity and results.
  • Complete extensive data entry and system navigation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous training opportunities to maintain knowledge of products and services.
  • Attain productivity and sales goals based on targeted metrics.
  • Demonstrate positive behavior with customers and coworkers, maintaining high standards for ethical conduct.
  • Disburse adjustments and credits as appropriate within established limits.
  • Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 4-7 years of experience selling within an education vertical (Required)
  • 4-7 years of demonstrated track record of sales success in business sales (B2B) (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency (Required)
  • Customer acquisition skills (Required)
  • Attention to detail (Required)
  • Strong communication skills (Required)
  • Presentation skills (Required)
  • Problem-solving abilities (Required)
  • Sales analysis capabilities (Required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Education industry (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in Wireless Industry/Telesales/Technical Sales (Preferred)
