About the position

The Sr. Account Executive for Neurology at Accredo is a field-sales position focused on selling specialty pharmacy services to healthcare professionals, particularly in the area of Multiple Sclerosis and other neurologic disorders. The role requires a strong sales background, particularly in outside sales, and a good understanding of the managed care environment. The executive will be responsible for achieving sales quotas, educating prescribing offices, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Accredo Specialty Pharmacy services to prescribing offices of Multiple Sclerosis and other neurologic disorders.
  • Meet sales goals as defined by the sales director.
  • Interpret prescribing data to drive strategic planning within the territory.
  • Meet productivity requirements regarding quality customer interaction.
  • Achieve daily goals for reach and frequency as defined.
  • Complete all administrative requirements on time.
  • Accountable for account planning, development of sales strategy, and call reporting via Salesforce.
  • Attend industry and corporate meetings and events in and out of territory.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience.
  • Healthcare experience is a must; pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales that can be documented.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience calling on Neurologists is a plus but not mandatory.
