About the position

In this role, you will manage all aspects of engagements with both existing and new customers for the Honeywell Building Technologies organization. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships and gaining a deep understanding of customer businesses to provide them with the most appropriate products or solutions. You will be responsible for defining the sales and growth strategy directed towards key customers, ensuring alignment with critical sales business objectives. This position requires you to identify opportunities and build credibility with customers, utilizing your extensive product knowledge to effectively deliver the value proposition that Honeywell offers. As you engage with customers, you will be expected to articulate and deliver the value proposition clearly, manage momentum throughout the sales cycle, and establish rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships. Your ability to negotiate and close deals will be crucial in achieving sales targets and driving growth within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Honeywell remains a trusted partner in the Building Technologies sector, and your contributions will directly impact the success of the business.

Requirements

  • 7 years of business to business sales experience
  • 5 plus years' experience selling Building Automation Systems (Fire, HVAC, Security, Access Control, Etc.)
  • Valid driver's license

Nice-to-haves

  • 3-5 years' Experience and proven track record in Contractor Project Sales
  • Experience with Direct to Owner Sales
  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
