About the position

The Sr. Account Manager for Contractor Development at LG Electronics is a remote, full-time role focused on enhancing the capabilities of contractors within the Air Solutions team. This position is pivotal in identifying training opportunities and resources to empower contractors, improve their sales techniques, and optimize their business operations. The role involves managing the LG Pro Dealer program, executing training modules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective onboarding and continuous development of contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and provide training opportunities to enhance contractors' business capabilities.
  • Manage the identification, recruitment, and continued development of the LG Pro Dealer program.
  • Maintain and execute contractor sales training modules, including in-person training and online content.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution sales and training team to enhance contractor training and business operations training.
  • Design, execute, and improve the LG Pro Dealer onboarding process.
  • Ensure new contractors receive comprehensive training and support to meet program requirements.
  • Provide training programs covering sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Conduct assessments to identify gaps in contractor opportunities and create initiatives to address these gaps.
  • Manage and nurture relationships between vendors and distribution partners.
  • Coordinate communication to align goals and objectives between vendors and distributors.
  • Organize and conduct 'train the trainer' events for the sales team and distribution Territory Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contractor development in the HVAC industry or related field.
  • Proficiency in the HVAC industry's best practices.
  • Strong presentation skills to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to inspire partners and team members through transparent engagement.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
