About the position

This Account Manager role on our Multi-Product Team will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small business clients in the digital marketing space. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the company's services. The ideal candidate will have excellent client communication and relationship-building skills, along with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, SMM, and Paid Ads/PPC. In this position, you will be tasked with serving as the primary point of contact for clients and managing their accounts, handling any updates, changes, or inquiries that may arise. You will monitor account performance and identify opportunities for improvement or growth. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients is crucial to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and to better understand their needs and goals. Regular communication with clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings will be essential, providing updates and addressing any concerns. Collaboration with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and content creation, will be necessary to ensure client projects are executed efficiently and effectively. You will regularly analyze and report on clients' digital marketing performance, including metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates, providing recommendations for optimization and improvement based on these insights. Additionally, you will work to retain clients by ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services and addressing any potential issues before they escalate. Identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or products that could benefit clients' business goals will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years minimum of Account Management experience, preferably in an SEO or Marketing Agency setting.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales-based position within a metrics driven organization.
  • A College Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or other related field is a big plus.
  • Digital Marketing and a strong understanding of SEO, SMM and Paid Ads/PPC is required.
  • Google Analytics/AdWords Certification is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of local search ranking factors and/or writing content on the internet is recommended.
  • Ability to actively collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals and objectives, and then developing effective digital marketing strategies to achieve those goals.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented in a production intensive environment, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Analytics and AdWords Certification.
  • Knowledge of local search ranking factors.
  • Experience in writing content for the internet.
