About the position

The Sr. Accountant at Cytek Biosciences, Inc. is responsible for managing general ledger (GL) activities, including accounts reconciliations and month-end journal entries. This role serves as the primary contact for fixed assets, prepay, and cash reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close process for cash reconciliation, including the creation and scrutiny of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses and investigations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations pertaining to payroll and benefits.
• Oversee and maintain the subledger for areas such as capitalized software and fixed assets.
• Owner of fixed assets capitalization procedure and the annual fixed assets physical count.
• Maintain the NetSuite FAM module. Process the depreciation run and fixed assets rollforward.
• Ensure that procedures related to job responsibilities are thoroughly documented and accomplished within the expected timeframe.
• Play a fundamental role in improving and optimizing the processes of the general ledger accounting system.
• Lead position to implement FAM globally.
• Manage prepay accounts. Ensure all prepay are booked correctly and amortized accurately.
• Manage the intangible and goodwill accounts. Apply GAAP guidance properly.
• Perform accounts reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Support Sr. Corporate Accounting Manager to ensure smooth month-end and quarter-end close.
• Point of contact person for the external auditors relating to GL accounting function.
• Perform other Ad Hoc tasks as needed.
• Support the accounting team in other functions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA, or strong experience with accounting standards
• Proven experience in SOX compliance, and GL accounting
• Hands on with NetSuite and FAM system
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player and problem-solver
