Responsibilities

  • Handle general ledger operations and ensure the accuracy of journal entries.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations regularly.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations regularly and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with the established regulations and procedures.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Ensure timely reporting of monthly financial information.
  • Support the team in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Must have experience in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with general ledger and journal entries is essential.
  • Experience in month-end close procedures and preparing monthly financials is required.
  • Must be able to review and prepare financial statements.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
