About the position

The Sr. Acquisition Program Manager at KBR will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's C-130 Program Office at Robins AFB, GA. This role involves extensive program management responsibilities, including cost and schedule analysis, risk assessments, and the development of program documentation to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program documentation to support Request for Proposal, Milestone Decisions, and Acquisition Strategy.
  • Provide technical analysis integration of program management aspects such as engineering, procurement, financial management, and environmental management.
  • Ensure program requirements and statements of work are detailed for execution.
  • Develop requirements and Milestone documentation, providing technical writing expertise for deliverables.
  • Conduct analysis, draft, and deliver source selection evaluation inputs in an advisory role.
  • Provide recommendations to integrate project information into existing program strategy.
  • Employ integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise across functional disciplines.
  • Perform program management activities including gathering program information, conducting analyses, and developing program strategies.
  • Analyze program activities such as acquisition program planning, financial management, and cost analysis.
  • Compile and review budgets against actual performance to control budgets and support financial decisions.
  • Aid in developing and implementing strategies to achieve program objectives within performance criteria.
  • Participate in budget and schedule preparation and perform financial analyses.
  • Support the customer PM in executing their mission and ensuring effective program management.
  • Assist in program progress reviews and create/brief executive agency system acquisition reports.
  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in DoD, Agency, and industry standards and advise colleagues on standards interpretation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field and 10 years' experience in technical program planning and implementation.
  • In lieu of education, 18 years' experience is required.
  • Knowledge of current USAF weapon system management processes, policies, and procedures.
  • This position requires a SECRET clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • C-130 or other similar fixed wing or military aircraft experience.
  • DAWIA or Professional Certification in Program Management.
