About the position

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst in the ALDP at UnitedHealthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth and financial goals through advanced risk management and financial analysis. This position allows for remote work and involves collaborating with various internal partners to enhance health plan competitiveness through effective pricing and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing, rate filings, regulatory reports, surveys, and audit
• Utilize pricing tools and interpret/communicate results to leadership
• Collaborate with internal partners such as Product, Sales, Regulatory, and Underwriting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Actuarial experience, preferably within Healthcare
• Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
• Experience using analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Excel

Nice-to-haves

• Health rate filing and/or pricing expertise
• Experience and proficiency with Access and/or VBA
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal forms of communication
