The Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - PWSA Enterprise SE/Product Owner/Scrum Master role at General Dynamics Mission Systems involves leading a cross-functional team in the development and deployment of advanced ground operational systems. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in systems engineering, project management, and agile methodologies, with a focus on meeting customer requirements and driving innovation in defense technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis, definition, and management for system elements.
• Conduct functional analysis, performance analysis, and system design under supervision.
• Execute technical planning, cost and risk analyses for subsystems and system elements.
• Develop system requirements and define allocations to lower levels.
• Conduct detailed technical analyses for subsystems or system elements.
• Ensure designs meet governmental security specifications through systems evaluation.
• Provide system accreditation and certification evaluation support.
• Participate in Modeling and Simulation activities.
• Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility.
• Support the generation of technical engineering products throughout the system development life cycle.
• Provide leadership and direction to lower level employees as needed.
• Plan and execute project tasks for major programs and projects.
• Define processes for technical platforms and system specifications.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Preferred Agile experience.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
