As a Sr Advanced Technical Sales Engineer (Hydroprocessing) at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role within UOP's Process Technology & Equipment team. This position is designed for a professional who is not only skilled in technical sales but also possesses a deep understanding of hydroprocessing technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and provide technical expertise for our hydroprocessing solutions. You will engage closely with customers to comprehend their specific needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver compelling value-added proposals. Your extensive knowledge of hydroprocessing technologies, combined with your strong technical acumen, will empower you to effectively communicate the advantages of our solutions, thereby fostering business growth. In this role, you will act as a Proposal Manager for Hydroprocessing technologies, with the goal of increasing UOP's share of Hydroprocessing technology licensor selections. You will participate in defining the technical strategy for sales opportunities, crafting proposal and product value propositions that resonate with potential clients. Engaging in voice of the customer exercises will be crucial for gathering feedback on our offerings, quality, and customer needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining and reporting competitive intelligence, including competitor strategies, products, market demands, and trends. Your position will also involve maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire product line, particularly focusing on your area of expertise. You will leverage your knowledge of competitors to create differentiated solutions and generate a quantified UOP value proposition. Participation in best practice teams will be expected, where you will contribute to the development and improvement of tools aimed at enhancing sales support efficiency. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing performance yield estimates for Hydroprocessing technologies and customizing guarantees to meet project requirements while considering competitors' positions. Collaboration with multi-functional resources will be essential as you build business strategies and execute plans. You will also drive key development projects in Hydroprocessing technology and infrastructure activities aimed at future sustainability. Success in this role will hinge on your ability to develop unit yield estimates and technology proposals that favorably position UOP against competitors, interface effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, and communicate clear and concise messages that present solutions and value propositions in the customer's language.
