About the position

The Senior Agency Account Executive at AdRoll is responsible for developing new agency partnerships through strategic prospecting and sales activities. This role involves collaborating with product teams to promote solutions and ensuring smooth transitions from prospects to partners. The position requires leveraging industry expertise to provide consultative sales experiences and delivering tailored proposals to meet agency needs, with a focus on evangelizing AdRoll's full-funnel performance marketing platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new agency partnerships through strategic prospecting and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to promote solutions and ensure smooth transitions from prospects to partners.
  • Leverage industry expertise to provide consultative sales experiences.
  • Deliver tailored proposals to meet agency needs.
  • Identify, engage, and close high-value agency partnerships through targeted prospecting and compelling sales calls.
  • Partner closely with Product Specialists and Solutions Teams to promote and sell AdRoll's features and products.
  • Serve as a conduit between advertisers and product development, synthesizing feedback to tailor solutions.
  • Take charge of the proposal development processes, ensuring a smooth transition from agency prospect to agency partner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of agency or channel sales experience in the adtech industry.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing and programmatic advertising, especially selling to agencies or channel partners.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, preferably with Excel/Sheets and Salesforce.
  • Curiosity to learn 'why' and 'how' with a self-starter personality.
  • Consistently achieving quarterly sales quotas for new agency customer acquisition.
  • Unquestioned ethics and clarity around doing the right thing for customers and co-workers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience having worked at a marketing agency is a plus.
