About the position

Innova's client is seeking a Sr. Agile Project Manager to work a 6-month Contract with potential for Full-Time Employment (FTE). This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to the development of a modern Mobile platform powered by Cloud Services architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading Agile team processes and practices, and a strong desire to grow within the team. The Sr. Agile Project Manager will collaborate directly with the engineering team, product owner, and stakeholders to implement best-in-class mobile experiences. The role involves being a key member of the Product Delivery team, responsible for designing, building, and deploying Mobile and Cloud solutions. The candidate will work in a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Daily management of JIRA boards, conducting Agile ceremonies, and prioritizing business requirements are essential tasks. The Sr. Agile Project Manager will also create and manage a user story backlog for planned enhancements, oversee the onboarding of new projects into the development pipeline, and provide regular executive reporting on project status and progress. Additionally, the role requires coordinating daily stand-ups, reviews, releases, and bi-weekly sprints, utilizing tools such as JIRA, Excel, and internal systems for resource management, project tracking, and finance. Ensuring projects are completed and documented according to specifications and timelines, focusing on quality, and exceeding customer expectations are critical aspects of this position. The candidate will also support troubleshooting and operational issues while working with onsite and remote delivery and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member on the Product Delivery team to design, build, and deploy Mobile and Cloud solutions.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage JIRA boards daily, conduct Agile ceremonies, and prioritize business requirements.

• Work with onsite and remote delivery and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A passion for working on web and mobile applications.
• Experience gathering application development requirements.
• Experience managing and deploying development solutions from multiple simultaneous workstreams.
• Be a quick learner, able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Be self-motivated and dependable.
• Possess a willingness to experiment.

• Previous experience working Hybrid or in a Full Remote capacity.
