About the position

Innova's client is seeking a Sr. Agile Project Manager to work a 6-month Contract with potential of FTE. This position is 100% REMOTE! The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dedicated Sr. Agile Project Manager who will help lead the continued development of our Mobile platform, which is powered by a modern Mobile and Cloud Services architecture that integrates various components seamlessly. The Sr. Agile Project Manager will work directly with the engineering team, product owner, and stakeholders to implement best-in-class mobile experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile applications. As a key member of the Product Delivery team, the Sr. Agile Project Manager will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying Mobile and Cloud solutions. This involves collaborating with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The role also includes managing JIRA boards daily, conducting Agile ceremonies, and prioritizing business requirements to ensure that the project stays on track and meets deadlines. The Sr. Agile Project Manager will create and manage a user story backlog for planned enhancements, oversee the onboarding of new projects into the development pipeline, and provide regular executive reporting on project status and progress. They will coordinate daily stand-ups, reviews, releases, and bi-weekly sprints, utilizing tools such as JIRA, Excel, and internal systems for resource management, project tracking, and finance. The focus will be on ensuring that projects are completed and properly documented according to specifications and timelines, while also maintaining a high standard of quality and exceeding customer expectations. Additionally, the role involves collaboratively supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving defects and operational issues, working with both onsite and remote delivery and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key member on the Product Delivery team to design, build, and deploy Mobile and Cloud solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A passion for working on web and mobile applications.
  • Experience gathering application development requirements.
  • Experience managing and deploying development solutions from multiple simultaneous workstreams.
  • Be a quick learner, able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Be self-motivated and dependable.
  • Possess a willingness to experiment.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Can-do attitude, help to create and maintain a positive, trustful team environment.
  • A history of consistently shipping small features and improvements.
  • Previous experience working Hybrid or in a Full Remote capacity.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering for a globally available product.
  • The ability to effectively communicate across organizational functions.
  • Provide work direction to or mentor less experienced team members.
  • The ability to effectively plan, organize, and measure progress toward goals and objectives.
  • Have an intellectual curiosity and constant desire to learn.
  • Have strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in an Agile Project Management role delivering SaaS products.
  • Experience working with product(s) of high scope and complexity.
  • Are certified in Agile Project Management.
