About the position

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Agile Scrum Master with over 10 years of experience. In this role, you will be an integral part of a digital software team that focuses on high-demand applications. Our engineers are dedicated to producing high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and clients to make informed decisions that enable the rapid delivery of valuable working software to clients and their users. This position is based in Duluth, GA, and requires onsite presence three days a week. Responsibilities

• Act as an Agile Scrum Master with a focus on the retail domain and a technical background in Java.
• Run all agile ceremonies effectively to ensure team alignment and productivity.
• Manage multiple distributed agile PODs consisting of resources from various vendors and clients.
• Facilitate discussions with highly technical teams to drive project success.
• Participate in Scrum of Scrums (SOS) meetings to address and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
• Create and manage dashboards in JIRA and Confluence to track and report project delivery health KPIs/metrics.
• Act as a change agent within the team, promoting agile practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must have Scrum Master certification (Certified Scrum Master - CSM).
• Must have retail domain experience and a technical background in Java.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence, with the ability to create dashboards for tracking project metrics.
• Experience with agile engineering practices such as Test Automation, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and DevOps.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills in a team setting.
