As an AI Engineer at VORTO, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative software solutions that enhance the economic and environmental sustainability of supply chains. This position combines software engineering and data science, focusing on logistics optimization, supply prediction, and demand prediction. You will work with a dynamic team to create intelligence that powers the platform, utilizing tools such as Go, TensorFlow, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems using mechanistic and statistical approaches.
• Develop new methods to optimize supply chains.
• Enhance logistics simulations and market optimization algorithms.
• Implement predictive models for commodity demand, supply availability, estimated arrival times, and potential delays.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing AI tools using Go.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Strong background in algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, and artificial neural networks.
• Ability to execute tasks independently and solve problems efficiently.
• Familiarity with function/path optimization and algorithms like linear programming, BOBYQA, A* Search, and simulated annealing.
• An advanced degree in a quantitative field.
