About the position

As a Senior AI Engineer at Avanade, you will be part of a dynamic AI team focused on delivering advanced AI solutions across various industries. Your role will involve assessing client requirements, leading the development of machine learning and AI algorithms, and engaging in pre-sales activities to showcase the application of data science. Responsibilities

• Assess client requirements and design analytics solutions based on data analysis, data science, technology, and business process design
• Lead the development of ML, AI, and statistical algorithms and solutions using R and Python
• Prepare advanced data analysis and present results to business stakeholders, including solution prototypes and CRP sessions
• Participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate the application of data science and statistics

Requirements

• Significant experience in the design and build of AI solutions for customers
• Understanding of structured and unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and related analytics fields
• Experience in implementing/deploying AI solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP
• Experience in data analytics, BI, data warehousing, or relevant technical experience
• Extensive experience developing ML & AI solutions using R and Python

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree (PhD) in machine learning, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or statistics
• Proven scientific research skills (published scientific papers and/or conference presentations)
• Comfortable leading sales and business development opportunities with clients
