About the position

As a Senior AI Engineer at Avanade, you will be part of a dynamic AI team that focuses on building and deploying advanced AI solutions for leading businesses across various industries. This role involves assessing client requirements, leading project delivery, and developing machine learning and AI algorithms using R and Python. You will also engage in pre-sales activities and present analytical solutions to stakeholders, contributing to the realization of the potential of data for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess client requirements and design analytics solutions based on data analysis, data science, technology, and business process design
• Provide program leadership including delivery team leadership and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead the development of ML, AI, and statistical algorithms and solutions using R and Python
• Prepare advanced data analysis and present the results to business stakeholders, including solution prototypes and CRP sessions
• Participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate the application of data science and statistics.

Requirements

• Significant experience in the design and build of AI solutions for customers
• Understanding of structured and unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and related analytics fields
• Significant experience in implementing/deploying AI solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP
• Experience in data analytics, BI, data warehousing, data platform development, or other relevant hands-on technical experience
• Comfortable engaging and leading sales and business development opportunities with clients
• Extensive commercial or academic experience in developing ML & AI solutions using R and Python.

• Advanced degree (PhD) in machine learning, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or statistics
• Proven scientific research skills (published scientific papers and/or scientific conference presentations)
