About the position

At T-Mobile, we are looking for a Senior Analyst in Accounts Receivable who will play a crucial role in managing credit-related functions and escalated collection recommendations for our Retail Partner accounts. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our credit risk ratings are accurate and that the actions we recommend align with the best interests of T-Mobile. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for conducting periodic and timely credit reviews and analyses on all assigned accounts, ensuring that credit risk ratings are appropriate and that necessary actions are taken to mitigate risk effectively. The role requires regular interaction with various stakeholders, including Sales, Legal, Contract Administration, Commissions, and Accounts Payable. The Senior Analyst will lead meetings with business partners and Sales, ensuring that all issues and concerns are identified and resolved in a professional manner. This position also involves mentoring other team members in all aspects of credit and collections, showcasing leadership skills in all interactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business and consumer credit, along with experience in collecting and negotiating effectively. In addition to the technical skills required, the Senior Analyst will be expected to display strong leadership qualities, guiding the team through complex credit situations and fostering a collaborative environment. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our credit processes and ensuring that T-Mobile continues to thrive in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic and timely credit reviews and analyses on all assigned accounts.
  • Ensure that credit risk ratings on accounts are appropriate and that actions recommended are in the best interest of T-Mobile.
  • Interact with Retail Partners, Sales, Legal, and Contract Administration to address credit-related issues.
  • Facilitate escalation and communication among TMO team members, both within the department and externally.
  • Mentor other positions within the department in all aspects of credit and collections.
  • Lead meetings with business partners and Sales to resolve issues and concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years of experience in collecting and negotiating (Required)
  • 4-7 years of general understanding of business and consumer credit (Required)
  • Experience with SAP (Preferred)
  • Experience with bankruptcy (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
