About the position

The Sr Analyst, Application Developer at CVS Health is responsible for implementing and supporting vendor packages and custom Interactive Voice Response (IVR) applications within the Contact Center Technology Team. This role focuses on enhancing the functionality of contact center support software, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to security policies and coding standards. The position requires collaboration with various teams and involves both development and production support tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Work with vendors to implement, enhance and upgrade contact center support software.
  • Work with business users to triage issues and resolve day to day issues.
  • Design and develop call flows for new and existing IVR applications.
  • Adhere to security policies and internal processes.
  • Follow internal coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with contractors and internal infrastructure teams for modifications.
  • Design, develop, test, implement and support custom processes around vendor applications.
  • Enhance Nuance IVR applications through design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Provide production support and ticket resolution for contact center applications.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and phone rotation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience supporting contact center applications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Spring framework and Maven build
  • 2+ years of experience with Tomcat server
  • 2+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
  • 2+ years of experience with MS SQL 2012 or higher

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years experience in application development or equivalent technical IT background
  • Web development experience with Java, JSP and Java Script
  • Knowledge of SQL, OS scripting (Unix/Windows)
  • Understanding of the basic software development life cycle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse workforce
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Understanding of relational database architecture and ability to design normalized table structure
  • Basic understanding of client server hardware architecture
  • Ability to create and execute basic test plans
  • Understanding of coding best practices and adherence to standards
  • Knowledge of batch programming and job scheduling
