About the position

The Sr Analyst, Business Pharmacy Enterprise Tech Solutions at Rite Aid is responsible for engaging in detailed requirements gathering and analysis with key business partners. This role involves documenting requirements, drafting user stories, and supporting IT in scrum and backlog meetings, as well as performing user acceptance testing. The analyst will work on various projects ranging from minor defect fixes to the development of new applications, demonstrating knowledge of the software development lifecycle and AGILE methodology. The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical users, and the capability to influence stakeholders to achieve acceptable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate the Pharmacy Enterprise Solutions Change Management Process with key stakeholders following SDLC processes
  • Develop business requirements documentation, workflow designs, and presentations for key pharmacy business stakeholders
  • Create business user stories and acceptance criteria for Information Technology Stakeholders using AGILE methodology
  • Participate in IT design reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of enterprise systems
  • Develop knowledge of system capabilities and functions of pharmacy application software to recommend optimal solutions
  • Manage special projects and implementations as assigned by Pharmacy Operations and IT Management
  • Ensure proposed system features and requirements meet user needs and satisfy business objectives
  • Assist in creation and implementation of test plans mapped to documented requirements
  • Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or BETA presentations as required
  • Create training and system documentation, conduct training sessions as necessary
  • Build relationships between business partners and the IT department regarding requirements, solutions, and priorities
  • Provide Production Support analysis based on assigned/escalated issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science, Information Services, or related field required
  • 3 years of experience in business analyst or similar system/business support role required
  • 1 year of experience with knowledgebase, defect tracking, and requirements related software systems (such as ServiceNow, IBM Rational RequisitePro, JIRA, etc.) required
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification and methodology development required
  • Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies required

Nice-to-haves
