About the position

Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a talented individual with knowledge of and experience working with custom applications using techno-functional skills. This Senior Business Analyst will work closely with our Sales Operations department to continue building our Supply Chain Foundations (SCF) tool used by Medline's Prime Vendor Analysts and Medline customers. This individual will work as a Senior Business Analyst on the SCF SCRUM team to deliver incremental product releases, refine the product backlog, lead sprint planning sessions, participate in sprint retrospectives, showcase new work in sprint demos, and support our 3000+ user base. This is a great opportunity to work with a fast-paced team that thrives on agile practices while producing new cutting-edge information sharing with our customers as well as lead a transformation of this low code application. In this role, the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with business partners to identify and document business problems. They will recommend solutions with new or existing processes, applications, systems, programs, or software. The analyst will manage and drive multiple primary assignments and handle complex issues/requests. Acting as the primary contact with business stakeholders, they will collect requirements, lead the team through sprints, demo work in progress, validate and test the development work, and deliver the execution of the technical release. The position requires leading and driving requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders with minimal dependency from the Lead or Manager. The analyst will organize and engage in effective meetings with the team and business, identify the inter-dependencies of complex projects across domains, and communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior leaders and executives. They will also research solutions available with minimal dependency on lead/manager and articulate business solutions to communicate with technical teams to develop and configure solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will prioritize primary assignments for other team members, provide feedback as required, investigate and document business requirements from business partners, and facilitate discussions and conduct workflow analyses. They will interpret business requirements to functional designs, collaborate with Developers and Engineers on technical designs and development, and convert business requirements into user stories, workflow charts, and diagrams with appropriate acceptance criteria that can be converted into technical tasks. Additionally, they will act as a liaison and lead between the IT development group and business partners for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems, working with low code developers as they develop new features and enhancements. Ensuring solutions are tested/validated sufficiently before being implemented in production is critical, as is providing daily support via HelpDesk tickets for business and customer users. The ability to multi-task is essential in this role, as the analyst will be answering business questions and helping prime stakeholders effectively.
