About the position

As a Senior Financial Analyst for the Central Division Revenue Management team at PepsiCo, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial expertise and recommendations that drive effective decision-making within the Central Division markets. This position is an opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and gain valuable experience in price strategy, contributing to the overall success of the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing business results and conducting ad hoc analyses that lead to actionable insights and recommendations for business improvement. Your work will directly impact the development of local pricing playbooks and market architecture recommendations aimed at delivering profitable and sustainable topline growth. In this role, you will focus on protecting and expanding market share in key Central Division markets by evaluating retail price health and recommending balanced retail strategies. Collaboration across functions will be essential as you activate these recommendations and support strategic initiatives. You will also be involved in planning and developing the Central Division's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), which includes deck analysis and preparation. Additionally, you will partner with the Central Finance Revenue Management team to analyze trade investment decisions and manage activity contingency requests. Your ability to provide insightful analysis and support ad-hoc requests will be crucial to the success of the team and the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insightful analysis of business results to Senior Management and perform ad hoc analyses that lead to problem solving and business improving recommendations.
  • Develop local pricing playbooks and market architecture recommendations to deliver profitable and sustainable topline growth.
  • Evaluate retail price health and recommend balanced retail strategies to protect and expand market share in key Central Division markets.
  • Collaborate across functions to activate pricing recommendations and support strategic initiatives.
  • Plan and develop the Central Division's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including deck analysis and preparation.
  • Partner with Central's Finance Revenue Management team to analyze trade investment decisions and manage activity contingency requests.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)
  • MBA preferred; CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Category Management, or evaluating business performance.
  • Functional finance experience in areas such as Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, or Procurement is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions and processes.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Innovative thinker focused on continuous process improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain cooperation across the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications.
  • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision.
