About the position

The Sr. Analyst, Compensation at Cardinal Health plays a crucial role in designing and administering competitive compensation programs that attract and retain employees while driving performance and results. This position involves leading compliance initiatives, supporting compensation planning cycles, and providing analytical support to ensure accurate compensation data management.

Responsibilities

  • Leads compliance initiatives in key areas such as minimum wage, pay equity, and other state or local legally mandated requirements.
  • Responsible for process improvements related to case management triaging via ServiceNow.
  • First tier responder for consultation requests submitted to the Compensation team.
  • Leads assigned processes related to the enterprise-wide annual compensation planning cycle.
  • Provides Workday and analytical support to compensation partners with market pricing analysis and activities.
  • Owns assigned compensation data audits to ensure accuracy in Workday.
  • Provides analytical support across the Compensation COE, including daily equity processing, data audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Supports large projects and initiatives such as grants, vesting, and annual processes.
  • Supports special equity requests and salary survey participation.
  • Key partner on simplification and/or process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related experience, preferred.
  • BA, BS in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience with Compensation preferred.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.
  • Strong experience with Excel and ability to manipulate large data sets required.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed environment.
