The advanced level analyst will perform and produce analytics and data-driven insights by applying innovative problem-solving approaches. The role will evaluate and improve the performance of Magenta Shared Services: identifying key metrics, evaluating service effectiveness, and implementing process improvements. The responsibilities include conducting analysis, designing, developing, and implementing procedures to support the goals of the Magenta Services Center (MSC). The analyst will assist in the resolution of issues encountered by the business/partners (internal or external) and become a Partner Settlement subject matter expert, supporting enterprise product and service initiatives while working on issues of diverse scope and complexity. The role also involves maintaining and developing internal databases to support settlement efforts, solving complex, multi-faceted problems, and delivering simplified solutions that allow the department to seamlessly provide customer service excellence. Additionally, the analyst will support process reviews and improvement initiatives to drive improvement for customers, proactively identify potential issues, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to mitigate issues and risks by planning/implementing solutions with a sense of urgency. The analyst will develop, maintain, and present interactive dashboard style reporting, prevent 'revenue leakage', identify operational cost reduction opportunities, and optimize efficiency. The role requires working independently to drive accurate and timely results while consistently evaluating current deliverables for improvement opportunities and fostering relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to develop productive partnerships.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytical roles focused on financial transactions.
  • Ample experience with systems analysis, and demonstrated understanding of business system solutions.
  • Advanced Excel, SQL (Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, SQL server), Visual Basic, Alteryx (self-selects, pivoting data, stored procedures, complex joins, and parameters).
  • Advanced communication skills (oral and written) with ability to appropriately flex style to address various levels of organizational leadership.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
