Responsibilities

  • Support Segal Marco Advisors' research efforts with a focus on equity investments.
  • Interview investment managers and industry leaders to gather insights.
  • Write notes and research papers on equity investments.
  • Assist in evaluating investment manager performance.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base of investment managers.
  • Rate managers in the proprietary Manager Research & Ranking (MR^2) system.
  • Recommend best-in-class investment managers to consultants and clients.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss investment strategies.
  • Perform essential data collection and run analytics to analyze investment portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytic field such as finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Prior experience in a professional environment focusing on equity investments is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quantitative and computer background.
  • Interest in investments and familiarity with quantitative financial techniques.
