About the position
The Waxdale Facilities Senior Analyst is responsible for overseeing the safe and cost-effective delivery of facility operations, services, and maintenance activities at SC Johnson. This role involves managing a team of technicians and contractors, leading environmental operations, tracking utility usage, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Senior Analyst will also support site engineering efforts to optimize efficiency and manage various maintenance and repair projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead contractors and internal technicians in facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Manage the Environmental Operations (Can Crusher) team responsible for recycling.
- Track utility usage and report savings from on-site energy generation.
- Develop and maintain budgets for facility operations.
- Monitor and review current processes for efficiency improvements.
- Oversee projects and contractors for routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Manage compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Train utilities and facilities staff on safety and operational procedures.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of facility equipment and structures.
- Manage contracted services such as custodial, landscape maintenance, and pest control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, structural, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Facilities at a large manufacturing plant.
- 1+ years of contractor management experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Project management experience related to manufacturing processes and alternative energy.
- Process safety management experience related to LPG.
- Experience in trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
- Experience creating work orders and running reports in SAP.
- 8+ years of experience in Facilities at a large manufacturing plant.
- Technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
