The Senior FP&A Analyst at Savage serves as the primary point of contact for financial information for assigned Sector, Group, and Unit leaders. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of shared financial services across the organization. The analyst will lead initiatives in Business Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting, ensuring that financial processes align with the overall Enterprise strategy. The position requires a proactive approach to reviewing, streamlining, and improving the business planning and budgeting processes, challenging assumptions, and implementing continuous planning strategies. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior FP&A Analyst will develop market and scenario planning analyses, participate in the preparation of business plans and budgets for specific operations, and partner with General Managers and Operations Managers to prepare business plan presentations. The role also involves creating and managing a long-term corporate financial model, which includes forecasted Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. The analyst will own the monthly financial management report, conducting research and developing best-in-class processes to provide insights into financial performance. This includes performing ad hoc operational and financial analyses to support business leaders in decision-making, cost improvement programs, and financial enhancements. The role requires guidance and support to Operations Managers to ensure the effective use of financial tools and adherence to internal controls and accounting processes. Furthermore, the Senior FP&A Analyst will evaluate working capital and cash generation analyses, assess the efficiency of current assets and investments, and analyze revenue drivers, costs, and EBITDA to identify opportunities for improvement. The position also involves monitoring accrued revenue balances, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, and preparing consolidated monthly projections. The analyst will collaborate with commercial teams to analyze profitability and assist with annual inventory counts. Lastly, the role includes liaising with IT to automate analytical processes and centralize financial analysis, ensuring standardized policies for key financial procedures.
