About the position

The Sr. Analyst, HRIS serves as the key subject matter expert on the organization's Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role is crucial for maintaining, optimizing, and expanding the HRIS to align with the organization's HR and business objectives, ensuring data integrity and effective reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the review, testing and implementation of HRIS configurations upgrades.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and to improve system utilization and efficiency.
  • Partners with data analytics to ensure data integrity and reporting.
  • Creates and maintains a comprehensive suite of HR reports for stakeholders.
  • Identifies areas for process improvements and automation within the HRIS systems; leads initiatives to implement new modules or integrations.
  • Provides advanced technical support to end users and acts as a liaison between the HR team and Technology to resolve system issues promptly.
  • Works closely with HR, payroll, and other departments to understand system needs, requirements, and improvements; delivers training and documentation to end users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, information technology or a related field; or equivalent combination of post high school and work experience.
  • 5 years progressive experience in HRIS which includes data analysis, integration of HR systems, reporting analysis, HCM software administration, and a strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in HRIS software (such as Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP, or SuccessFactors) and database management; experience with data analysis tools is beneficial.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle HCM and intermediate skills in Smartsheet preferred.

  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize tools, concepts, principles, and practices of data collection, analysis, and testing.
