About the position

The Sr Analyst, Information Security Compliance at T-Mobile plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with various security regulations and audits. This position involves becoming a subject matter expert on security regulations, assessing compliance risks, and developing strategies to meet regulatory requirements. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to manage compliance activities and communicate the status and risks associated with the compliance program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships across the enterprise, including IT operations, finance, legal, and risk management.
• Consult and advise business partners on security requirements related to regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of technology, processes, and people required for compliance.
• Investigate and evaluate technologies and processes to identify security risks and compliance gaps.
• Develop and test formal security controls and facilitate assessments with external auditors.
• Lead and participate in strategic initiatives to enable cybersecurity compliance.
• Support the budget for assigned projects and manage, track progress, and report on tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in security, information technology, or security GRC.
• Knowledge of security GRC, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
• Experience with PCI DSS, NY DFS, ISO 27001, or similar standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, CISM, CISA certification
• Experience as a PCI QSA or ISA.
