About the position

The Sr. Analyst, IT - SAP SDMM position at Verano Holdings Corp. is a critical role that serves as the primary architect for the SAP Sales and Distribution/Materials Management functionality within the SAP S/4 HANA environment. This position is essential for supporting both production incidents and service requests, as well as engaging in new Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) configuration and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the SAP systems are effectively integrated with various modules, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Logistics Execution, while also possessing a strong understanding of Warehouse and Extended Warehouse Management in S4/HANA. In this role, the analyst will design and provide support for reports, interfaces, and enhancements, preparing technical design documents and detailed specifications for necessary ABAP programming. A key responsibility will be to analyze existing business processes and data to identify areas for improvement, developing solutions that add value to the organization. Collaboration is vital, as the analyst will work closely with internal customers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to ensure successful implementations. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for current and new localization in new mergers and acquisitions locations, guiding external consultants through the localization process or specific requests. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The analyst must demonstrate a high level of integrity, maintain confidentiality, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively lead through influence and execute change management initiatives. The role is designed for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing projects while resolving conflicts and leading teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales and Distribution, AR, and integrating modules like Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Logistics Execution in S4/HANA.
  • Design and provide support for reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Prepare technical design documents and detailed specifications for necessary ABAP programming.
  • Analyze existing business processes and data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that add value.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners for successful implementations.
  • Manage current and new localization in new M&A locations.
  • Guide external consultants for localization processes or specific requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP SD and MM.
  • Demonstrated track record for designing and developing enterprise solutions using S4/HANA and Non-SAP technologies.
  • 5-7 years in an SAP SD/MM Architect role.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven background of leading through influence.
