Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Experienced New Product Introduction professional to join our team. This role is pivotal in executing new program sourcing strategies while ensuring alignment with commodity strategies and low-cost sourcing plans for sustainable supply chain development. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing plans that ensure the new product sourcing strategy aligns with desired program outcomes. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in cross-functional leadership, solution-based negotiating, cost management activities, strategic commodity coordination, and execution of key customer critical program development activities. As a New Product Introduction professional, you will engage in all aspects of supply chain competencies, providing an excellent proving ground for motivated individuals interested in building a strong foundation within Collins' supply chain organizations. Success in this role is defined by forging strong supplier relationships, establishing robust supplier contracts, taking ownership of the development process with a strong technical aptitude, and executing flawlessly to meet program and organizational goals. You will be part of and support Supply Chain matters within Integrated Product Teams, selecting sources for new products in line with commodity sourcing strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing supply chain plans and quality management measures for new products, executing value analysis of new product supply chain operations, and monitoring and managing scope in purchasing new products. Effective communication across all levels of the organization is essential, as you will manage procurement activities through the initial phases of product development and validate new program business case proposals. You will also drive compliance with procurement procedures within the working team to develop and execute standard work within the Procurement for development program, demonstrating an understanding of global logistics, including import/export requirements.
