About the position

The Sr. Analyst, Operations Technology plays a critical role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of technology to improve operations and business benefits. This position is essential for fostering cross-functional collaboration with Area leaders, Field leaders, Implementation teams, Labor Relations, corporate stakeholders, Information Technology, and vendor groups. The new technologies introduced will enhance customer experiences and drive greater efficiency across a network of over 20,000 Drivers, Dispatchers, Supervisors, and Managers. This role supports a core and foundational component of the Company's future-state roadmap and efforts to integrate and execute operational technology and process-based solutions. In this position, the Sr. Analyst will support all aspects of program and product development, ensuring that the deployment of cutting-edge in-cab technology is executed smoothly. They will address deployment issues and develop mitigation plans, while also supporting the pre-planning, deployment, and ongoing adoption of in-cab technologies and processes within Republic's field organization. Monitoring and developing reporting for program performance and deployment execution will be a key responsibility, along with conducting ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed. The analyst will actively generate recommendations for improvements and efficiencies related to process or programmatic changes. They will routinely review product enhancements and field-related training materials to ensure that all training aids and learning solutions remain relevant. Collaboration with managers, team members, and technology vendors will be crucial to support the development of products that meet business needs, outlining requirements and supporting roadmap development. Additionally, the analyst will help support project planning and change management for key initiatives and programs, working closely with team members and key business partners to develop project communications and training plans and materials. Vendor relations management and industry networking will also be part of the role, aimed at uncovering new technologies and fostering relationships. The analyst will support the execution of new technology pilots and business cases around proven technology aimed at driving operational business benefits, while also maintaining logistical alignment across various vendors. Other job-related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Supports all aspects of program and product development
  • Supports Implementation & Deployment of cutting edge in-cab technology
  • Supports deployment issues and develop mitigation plans

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in one or more roles focusing on process improvement and financial analysis in the waste industry or related field(s)
  • 2 years of experience performing systems analysis and translating business needs into definable systems solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Prior experience in the waste industry or related field(s)
