About the position

The Sr. Analyst, Payroll Systems role at Sony Pictures Entertainment is a critical position responsible for managing the consistency of employee data across all related systems. This role involves a collaborative effort across various functions to enhance and improve the current integration processes related to payroll systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of integrations into the Payroll System, troubleshooting integration-related issues, and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the systems architectural diagram that feeds into and out of the payroll systems. This includes identifying what integrations are in place, whether they are automatic or manual, and understanding the ownership of these integrations. In addition to managing the integrity of the payroll system integrations, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for data mining to identify error trends, working with internal Payroll IT to test new configuration requirements, and assisting in managing system SLAs and KPIs. The role also includes resetting employee passwords for the payroll system and compiling metrics on the case management process. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $98,000, with potential for annual incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the integrity of integrations into the Payroll System
  • Troubleshoots all integrations related issues (working with internal and external stakeholders)
  • Understands the overall systems architectural diagram that feeds in and out of the payroll systems
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the systems architectural diagram
  • Data mines for error trends
  • Working with internal Payroll IT to test new configuration requirements related to payroll systems and operations
  • Assist with managing the system SLAs and KPIs
  • Reset Employees password for the payroll system
  • Compiles/reports metrics on case management process

Requirements

  • AS degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Fundamental Payroll Professional (FPC)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in payroll
  • Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior Workday, SAP, UKG Pro experience, including UTA / Time and Attendance, highly desirable
