About the position

Join Ally Financial Inc. as a Sr. Analyst - Physical Security Program Oversight & Governance and be part of a world-class team that is dedicated to excellence. In this role, you will collaborate across all teams within Physical Security to provide oversight and governance of Ally's physical security program. You will have the opportunity to identify potential risks and contribute to the development of effective security measures, ensuring compliance to governance documents and conducting security assessments. Your contributions will be critical in successfully implementing and maintaining a flawless physical security program. As a Sr. Analyst, you will oversee the drafting and ongoing maintenance of physical security governance documents. You will provide support during a physical security incident response and guidance to the supply chain during contract negotiations. Acting as a liaison between physical security, third party risk management, and supply chain will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will conduct security assessments of Ally facilities and review existing physical security processes to identify and implement initiatives for enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, you will support the build-out and maintenance of the physical security oversight program, produce, validate, and publish reporting of the physical security program, and develop and deliver physical security training to the enterprise. Completing ad-hoc projects will also be part of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the drafting and ongoing maintenance of physical security governance documents.
  • Provide support during a physical security incident response.
  • Provide guidance to supply chain during contract negotiations.
  • Act as a liaison between physical security, third party risk management, and supply chain.
  • Conduct security assessments of Ally facilities.
  • Review and challenge existing physical security processes to identify and implement initiatives for enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Provide support of physical security's case management tool.
  • Support the build out and maintenance of the physical security oversight program.
  • Produce, validate, and publish reporting of the physical security program.
  • Develop and deliver physical security training to the enterprise.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in physical security, compliance, risk or audit required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to analyze and map out processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Solid analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with contributing and leading projects.
