The Sr. Analyst, Product Innovation at Royal Caribbean Group plays a pivotal role in defining and developing strategic positioning for key consumer projects. This includes initiatives related to new ships and venues, modernized vessels, fleetwide programming, and brand product strategies, all aimed at delivering exceptional vacation experiences for guests of Royal Caribbean International. The position is integral in developing concepts and strategies that respond to consumer insights, identify white space opportunities, and address business needs, ultimately shaping the future of the vacation experience for the Royal Caribbean brand. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills to the table. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in storytelling and presentation, are essential for success in this role. The position requires collaboration within an agile team environment and a passion for working in an innovative, fast-paced, and forward-thinking atmosphere. In this role, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for developing guest-centric product strategies that are informed by consumer insights and align with the Royal Caribbean brand promise. The candidate will also be tasked with creating innovative concepts that enhance the guest experience and differentiate the brand in a competitive vacation industry. This includes participating in the product innovation process, defining the brand's strategic approach, generating ideas, securing organizational buy-in, and finalizing concepts for new guest experiences. Collaboration is key, as the Sr. Analyst will partner with various teams, including Analytics, Consumer Insights, Guest Experience, and Finance, to develop research plans that uncover new insights. The role involves analyzing diverse data sources to make data-driven recommendations for strategies and concepts, as well as socializing the strategic vision and gaining alignment on concepts across functions. The candidate will also create presentations and briefs to showcase strategies and concepts, aiming to gain buy-in from senior management and the CEO. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will mentor team members in critical thinking, strategic thinking, and creativity while managing multiple project workstreams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop guest-centric product strategies grounded in consumer insights that align with the Royal Caribbean brand promise.
  • Create innovative concepts that enhance the guest experience and differentiate the brand in the competitive vacation industry.
  • Participate in the product innovation process to define the brand's approach, strategy, idea generation, organizational buy-in, and final concepts for new guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Consumer Insights, Guest Experience, and Finance teams to develop research plans that uncover new insights.
  • Analyze diverse data sources to make data-driven recommendations for strategies and concepts.
  • Socialize strategic vision and direction across functions to gain alignment on concepts.
  • Create presentations and briefs to showcase strategies and concepts, gaining buy-in from senior management and the CEO.
  • Mentor team members in critical thinking, strategic thinking, and creativity.
  • Manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously and develop strategies in conjunction with the Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of career experience, with previous consulting, brand innovation, strategy, or travel/cruise industry experience being a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for the travel and hospitality sectors.
  • Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through in all tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with senior leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Initiative and ownership of workstreams, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze data and research results to make informed recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
