About the position

Comcast is seeking a Sr. Analyst for Product Management in the Broadband Emerging Products division, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in the rapidly evolving and highly competitive internet connectivity space. The Sr. Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping the company's internet product roadmap, particularly focusing on the value segment. The position involves supporting the full product lifecycle, from initial strategy development through to go-to-market launch and beyond. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally to create compelling customer propositions and partner with stakeholders to bring innovative products to market. The responsibilities of this role include conducting various analyses, orchestrating customer research, developing strategic business cases, performing technology assessments, and evaluating pricing and packaging strategies. The Sr. Analyst will also assess technical and operational feasibility, ensuring that product performance aligns with customer and business objectives. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Sr. Analyst will be expected to foster relationships with cross-functional partners across Technology, Customer Experience, Strategy, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Sales. Responsibilities

  • Support development of initial strategy and business cases to prioritize product initiatives
  • Oversee customer research and competitive analysis to obtain product insights; translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine the product go-to-market strategy utilizing excellent strong analytical skills
  • Support the defining of customer value propositions by synthesizing customer needs with internal capabilities
  • Assess technical and operational feasibility; support decision-making for setting business requirements for our key stakeholders and development partners
  • Ensure product performance and management optimizes for customer and business objectives
  • Foster relationships and serve as a subject matter expert to cross-functional partners across Technology, Customer Experience, Strategy, Go-to-Market, Marketing, Sales, and others
  • Consistent exercising of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
  • Generally requires 3-5 years related experience
  • Excellent team-work and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinker with analytical skills
  • Customer-obsession; prior roles with a focus on creating, defining, & advocating for customer value
  • Quick learner, comfortable with nascent technologies and emerging strategies
  • Fluent in MS Office including Word, Excel and strong PowerPoint/Keynote experience
