About the position

As a Senior Analyst in Product Management at American Express, you will play a pivotal role within the Global Strategy & Operations team, specifically in the Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT) group. This team is responsible for analyzing business performance and providing actionable insights to drive growth within Global Commercial Services (GCS). Your primary focus will be on leading project and program efforts for product implementations that enhance the sales process for our 4,000+ colleagues in the field and telephone teams. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, client management, marketing, product development, operations, and compliance, to ensure that our B2B customer-facing organization is equipped with the best tools and strategies to succeed. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying and managing risks associated with product launches, translating product roadmaps into well-defined requirements, and working with design and technology teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions. You will also be responsible for understanding market trends and competitive practices to inform product strategy and ensure that our offerings remain relevant and effective. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as you work to create a seamless sales process that leverages technology, AI, and machine learning. Responsibilities

  • Lead project and program efforts for product implementations
  • Identify, communicate, and manage risks associated with product launches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple partners throughout the organization to execute on capability strategy
  • Work with customers and key partners to define a product vision and strategy
  • Understand and apply new trends and competitive practices into product roadmap requirements
  • Support development of appropriate tracking and reporting to determine product performance
  • Translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria
  • Partner with vendor design and technology teams to develop, test, and deliver the defined capabilities and rapidly iterate new solutions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management with a consistent track record of delivering a product vision and strategy
  • Consistent track record running large, complex features or products with multiple partners

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in an equivalent field preferred
