About the position

As a Domestic Revenue Management Sr Analyst at Delta, you will be part of a world-class team responsible for maximizing revenue on flights by aligning passenger demand with pricing strategies. This role involves using analytical expertise and innovative demand management strategies to optimize fare products and ensure the right price availability for each customer segment. You will monitor flight-level demand, establish overbooking forecasts, evaluate performance trends, and collaborate with various teams to enhance market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize flight-level revenue by valuing passengers and forecasting demand.
  • Analyze historical and future booking trends to update flight-level demand.
  • Establish and maintain overbooking forecasts based on no-show behavior.
  • Evaluate performance and post-departure trends to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses related to assigned markets and assist in capacity decision-making.
  • Communicate market performance results to Revenue Management leaders and partners.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Network Planning, Alliances, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a time-sensitive team environment.
  • Independently structure and resolve problems related to inventory market management.
  • Flexibility in responding to unexpected situations and a desire to learn.
  • Prioritize safety and security of self and others.
  • Embrace diverse perspectives and styles.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with airline economic and industry concepts.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferred major in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in demand planning, data analysis, predictive analytics, or supply and demand concepts.
