About the position
The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Operations at The ODP Corporation is responsible for providing analytics support across various supply chain functions, including Inventory Management, Distribution Centers, and Transportation. The role focuses on analyzing supply chain operations to reduce costs and enhance efficiency through data-driven insights and reporting. The analyst will develop metrics, troubleshoot existing reports, and collaborate with team members to address operational challenges using mathematical and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide data and research for analytical endorsements of Supply Chain initiatives.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and quantitative investigations for business support.
- Participate in discussions to capture data requirements for modeling business processes.
- Develop a strong understanding of complex system requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Analyze existing reports and operational processes to improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain Supply Chain reports and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Analytics, Operations Strategy, or Data Management.
- Strong analytic skills with experience in data mining and quantitative techniques.
- Proficient in SQL, MS Office (including Access and Excel), and Business Intelligence reporting applications.
- Knowledge of mathematical/statistical modeling and optimization.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Cognos and mathematical modeling languages.
- Knowledge of predictive modeling and optimization techniques.
