Why you'll love this job * This job is a member of the Supply Chain Team within the Integrated Operations Division. * Responsible for facilitating the implementation of Interior Programs on behalf of the Technical Operations Procurement Group by effectively minimizing exposure and mitigating risk on the program as it relates to parts management. This job also reviews program milestones and monitors timelines on a daily basis to ensure suppliers support all facets of the supply chain deliverables, including on-time delivery of quality aircraft parts, and participate in special projects as assigned. What you'll do * Represents the company and serves as the principal intermediary in business transactions with both internal and external organizations * Defines project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organizes and leads project status and working meetings; prepares and distributes progress reports; manages risks and issues; corrects deviations from plans; and performs delivery planning for assigned projects * Successfully communicate relevant program information to multiple departments such as Engineering, Marketing, Production and Program Management on a regular basis * Coordinates all required strategic sourcing functions, from establishing internal stakeholder requirements * Supports the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience * Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience/training Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience * N/A Skills, Licenses & Certifications * Proven ability to lead projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met * Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels including the executive level * Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks with exhibited follow through and initiative. * Advanced business understanding particularly in project management * Skilled in organizational and interpersonal dealings * High ethical standards * Ability and willingness to travel as needed What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: * Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
