About the position

Adobe is seeking a senior, experienced 'hands-on' analytics engineer to join our Customer Engineering team within the Adobe Digital Experience (DX) Cloud Engineering. This role is pivotal in focusing on various aspects of product experience for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and related applications. The Customer Engineering (CE) team is dedicated to diagnosing and preventing customer issues while providing technical enablement to assist customers in navigating the product adoption lifecycle effectively. As part of this mission, the CE team collaborates closely with Adobe Field teams, including Pre-Sales, Consulting, and Support, as well as third-party partners, to gather and synthesize real-world customer patterns. This collaboration is essential for aligning our product roadmap and developing technical frameworks and tools that empower these field teams to engage with customers at scale and with significant impact. There is a pressing need for data-driven, actionable insights that can help identify, prioritize, and focus investments in people and technology to assist customers who are struggling to operate or grow their business impact from their AEP end-to-end systems. This role presents a unique opportunity to infuse customer self-service intelligence into our products through reporting, analytics, and AI assistance. The selected candidate will be among the founding members of a new Customer Data Science & Analytics team, tasked with modeling and delivering critical data sets that support cross-product and engineering critical metric reporting, predictive intelligence (such as identifying at-risk customers and assessing customer maturity), and frameworks for in-product usage and value. Collaboration with data science colleagues and other internal cross-team data engineers, ML ops, and decision science platform teams will be a key aspect of this role.
